Coding
Coding tools are where Flowstate has the deepest coverage. The five major vendors are all hostname-recognised by the agent, and six tools have billing connectors for authoritative spend. Most of the rest are catalog-listed, so Flowstate can classify their usage and attribute the spend to the engineers who use them as copilot cost.

What Flowstate misses today
The big six (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini Code Assist, Windsurf) are fully covered — agent telemetry plus billing reconciliation. Everything else is catalog-listed only: Flowstate knows the tool, but there is no authoritative spend feed, so track seat costs as contract SaaS spend. These are copilots people use, so any spend Flowstate does observe attributes to the person, never to a worker line of its own (see The AI cost model). For BYOK tools (Cline, Aider) the actual spend lands on the underlying foundation API, so look there for the real number.
