Mistral

Pull your Mistral spend into Flowstate so La Plateforme usage lands on the same ledger as payroll and projects.

What syncs

DataGrain
Invoiced costPer consumption category (chat, completion, OCR, audio…), one calendar month at a time

Mistral's billing endpoint reports money by category, with no token counts and no user dimension — per-person attribution comes from the Flowstate Agent. The figures are your billed cost, so Flowstate treats them as authoritative.

What you'll see in Flowstate

  • Spend reconciliation — Mistral's billed cost next to Agent telemetry. See Spend.
  • Per-project attribution — with the Agent, Mistral calls are attributed to a person, project and cost centre. See Attribution.
  • Cost trends — monthly burn by consumption category.

Getting started

You need to be an organisation administrator on an Enterprise account.

Two different Mistral consoles

Admin API keys come from the Backoffice at backoffice.mistral.ai. The Admin Panel at admin.mistral.ai issues ordinary workspace keys, and the Admin API rejects those. If your key is being refused, this is almost always why.

  1. Sign in to the Mistral Backoffice and create an Admin API key for your organisation
  2. In Flowstate, open Settings → Integrations → Mistral (Enterprise), paste the key, and optionally a workspace id if you want the figures narrowed to one workspace
  3. Click Verify and connect — Flowstate makes one read-only call to check it works before saving anything

How syncing works

Spend syncs hourly. Mistral addresses its usage endpoint by month and year and returns a whole calendar month per request, so Flowstate walks month by month when backfilling.

Mistral's Admin API is Enterprise-only and marked Preview, which means its endpoints can change. If Mistral changes the shape underneath us, the connection surfaces the real error on its provider page rather than quietly reporting no spend.
