How data stays in sync
Webhooks (real-time): Asana sends notifications to Flowstate when tasks are created, updated, or completed.
Scheduled sync (catch-up): A daily full sync ensures completeness.
Getting started
1. Connect Asana
- Go to Settings → Data Integrations → Asana
- Click Connect with Asana to authorise via OAuth
- Select the workspace you want to sync
- Click Confirm
2. Choose projects to sync
After connecting, select which Asana projects should sync to Flowstate. You can add or remove projects at any time.
3. Map your people
Flowstate matches Asana users to employees by email address. Add manual mappings if needed in Settings → Data Integrations → Employee Mappings.
Troubleshooting
Tasks aren't appearing
- Check that the connected Asana account has access to the projects
